In the early years the founding company (Offstump) was predominantly a reseller of technology and the jump to building digital solutions was achieved by the acquisition of VYRE in 2003.
VYRE has always been ahead of the game and what Offstump really acquired in 2003 was a group of visionaries from Iceland, who had mountains of enthusiasm, bags of energy and wanted to change the digital world for the better.
The vision for the combined companies was to offer the market something different: a unified solution that streamlined the entire digital media supply chain in a way that promoted creativity and appealed to non technical users.
The company name returned to VYRE in 2006 and the key technology of the company, VYRE Unify, was first released in 2005.
Since that time VYRE has worked tirelessly on a wide mix of digital projects with a extensive range of enterprises and their agencies including: Diageo, Nokia, Shell, Virgin Holidays, ESPN Star Sports, Lowe & Partners, Grey Advertising, The Society of London Theatre and Cambridge University Press.
With the heightened importance of global brands and the growing complexity of managing brands across multiple regions and channels, over recent years, VYRE's expertise has been increasingly been directed to bringing efficiency to global brand management and marketing resource management (MRM).
During 2010 VYRE believed there was a genuine gap in the market for a software as a service (SaaS) MRM suite. This conviction fuelled the investment in On Brand during 2010 and H1 2011.
On Brand is a modular suite, offered on the VYRE Cloud. The introduction of On Brand mid 2011 hit the market at an optimum time winning high profile deals with clients such as US Army, Nestle, JWT, Exelon and the BBC. The introduction of On Brand has also been recognized by Gartner, who positioned VYRE as visionary in the 2012, MRM Magic Quadrant.
