
Virgin Holidays and their Red Squirrel receive a standing ovation
Virgin Holidays recently presented the status of their Content Management Portal code named Red Squirrel within the company and the slides are now available online.
The project was launched last year and Virgin is now reaping the benefits of having all the hotel content and images accessible and managed in one place. Red Squirrel stores content for over 1300 hotels and more than 14.000 digital assets.
This content is then pushed to the website and used for the brochure creation process.
Like with all of our clients, there is never a dull moment and Virgin has plans for the subsequent phases including more quality content on the website, automated brochure production, roll out to call center and overseas staff and management of Video content.
Red Squirrel is a perfect example of how you can use Unify for Product Information Management.

Diageo BAM presentation from Henry Stewart now available to download
We have now uploaded the presentation from Nic Lund, Programme Manager at premium drinks manufacturer Diageo PLC. Nic gave a keynote presentation at the Henry Stewart DAM and MOM Symposium last week about Diageo's Brand Asset Management Portal called SmartBrand and the benefits the company has seen since implementing the portal.

Our SOLT case study presentation from Online Marketing is now available
Steve and Philippa Salvoni, who is Head of Publishing at The Society of London Theatre (SOLT) presented this case study seminar at Online Marketing and Media 2008 earlier this week. The seminar was very well attended and is specifically designed for marketing managers, web managers, and content managers, who are interested in using their content management system to improve SEO for and accessibility to their sites.

Spring cleaning on VYRE.com
We just hit the big green launch button for the new VYRE.com website.
It has been in the making for a while now and represents our new branding and product focus.
New features include an improved client section, integration with SalesForce, a lot of new content and screen shots.

Three new sites powered by Unify
Last Friday the Society of London Theatre launched their new site for the Official London Theater Guide. This is the number one site for theater listings and tickets in London. The site was designed and implemented by our in house team.
Today we also have an addition to our travel portfolio. Our partners at Portal Technology just launched two new sites for Thistle Hotels and Guoman. This project involved implementing a new brand and portlet development for their new hotel booking engine

TFM&A 08 show video now available...
The crew from VidPR.com visited our stand at the Technology for Marketing and Advertising show in February and did a video interview with Ruth. They interviewed several exhibitors and visitors and the TFM&A 2008 show video is now avilable to watch on the TFM&A website.
Ruth appears twice about half way through the video and then again about three quarters through commenting on the show and its seminar programme etc. So have a look at the video.

VYRE and the Icelandic Web Awards
The Icelanders are at it again.
The Society of Icelandic Internet Professionals (guess which CMS system they use :) have their annual awards ceremony next Friday.
We have got three Unify clients in the finals. Icelandair and Glitnir are nominated for best in sales and services and then we have Siminn and Glitnir nominated for best corporate site.
These are all projects managed by our partner TM Software in Iceland.

VYRE User Conference
We have now uploaded the presentations from our first UK User Conference. So if you were unable to make it on Tuesday, or if you would like to have another look, you can download them all now.
Gauti & Stefan presented the product roadmap for 2008, and highlights from our latest product releases. Soffia who works for VYRE partner TM Software in Iceland gave an overview on developing for VYRE as partners as well as case study presentations on VYRE clients Icelandair and Glitnir Bank. And last but not least Finnur and Joshua Gavin from Woolworths gave a nice overview of the Woolworths implementation of VYRE Unify for their product and digital asset management.

At the social event last Tuesday we launched wiki.vyre.com, where we aim to cover everything you need to know about Unify with traditional help content as well as code examples and best practice guides.

VYRE London social event
Later today we are inviting our clients and partners in the UK to a meetup. The main idea here is to get all the Unify users in a room and exchange ideas. We do have a presentations regarding the Unify roadmap and a couple of case studies, but later on we have the real knowledge sharing session where a local connoisseur will take us through some wine tasting.
This is something we are going to do twice a year so if you miss this one don´t worry.
We are also launching a new service at the event but you will have to stay tuned for the announcement.
