Job purpose

1. To carry out testing activities related to projects and software releases ensuring all deliverables are released to specification and the highest quality.
2. To be responsible for carrying out regression tests.
3. To be responsible for carrying out automated regression tests and maintain the automation test suite.
4. To raise and prioritize bugs and retest bug fixes.
5. To manage the build process of the test environment.
6. To become a user expert on how our products work, gaining an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses; and championing customer issues in order to ensure they have a positive experience.
7. To help develop the QA team by continually improving processes.

Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of QA/Testing experience in a web-based technology-led company, working as part of a QA/Testing team.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Good understanding of QA processes and the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Exposure of issue management and bug lifecycle.
• Familiarity with translating business/functional requirements into test requirements.
• Some experience in test automation using a test tool (preferably TestComplete or Selenium).
• Experience in Performance testing will be an advantage.
• Some knowledge in VBScript.
