Unify's integrated Portal technology provides a consolidated interface for the access of information and functionality from multiple internal applications. Coupled with the company's CM, workflow, and personalisation capabilities VYRE Unify is well suited to the creation of corporate information; as well as public facing portal environments.

Your authorised users gain access to the portal environment through a single sign on interface, and Unify comes with a number of user management integration options, including: database mapping, LDAP and JAAS.

All content added to the publishing module is in the form of Java Portlets. This offers two specific benefits: firstly, site designers can deploy any third-party Java Portlets directly into the system; and secondly, using this open standard allows developers to use their knowledge for adding new component types to the system if they so wish.
