Taxonomy, metadata management

The taxonomy structure provided by VYRE Unify is totally unique, being both multi-dimensional and dynamic. This guides user through the taxonomy classification, improving the user experience and search accuracy. Permissions can also be granted based on permissions, which means users can only be allowed to see certain categories of collections.

VYRE includes built in support for metadata standards such as e-GIF, DublinCore and IPTC. The metadata exchange format is unique to VYRE and provides a "super schema" of metadata fields. The exchange format also automatically extracts embedded metadata and populates the appropriate fields within the schema.

Search

VYRE Unify includes a wide range of search options and interfaces so that we can choose the right search features based on user needs.

Search options include: full text searching, taxonomy searching and a wide range of queries from simple keyword searches to wild card search, fuzzy searches, proximity searches, multilingual searches and complex word stem searches using Boolean operators.

We have recently incoporated enterprise search functionality to ensure maximum findability. This includes: dynamic navigation / faceted search, stemming and synonym support, dynamic document summaries with hit hightlighting, spellchecking( did you mean xxx?), query suggestions and folksonomy support.
